Victim's Rights

 

A crime victim, defined under the Criminal Procedure Article of the Maryland Code, is generally defined as a person who suffers direct or threatened physical, emotional, or financial harm as a result of crime. This definition, however, may vary depending on the rights afforded that person and the type of crime committed.
